I'm a big fan of Neale Donald Walsch. He is the author of Conversations with God. In 2018 it was the most inspirational and I opening books that I read.
In that book, he makes a statement...
"You can't have what you want."
Many people are familiar with meditation and the Law of Attraction. We make vision boards, set goals, and try to believe that we can manifest our own reality. This is true, but there is a premise that does not allow us to manifest the reality that we "want".
If you believe in the Law of Attraction and that getting in vibrational alignment through our thoughts and feelings, then you already know how important our feelings/vibrations are.
When you say I "want" something, that alone is a vibration.
What is the definition of "want"?
have a desire to possess or do (something); wish for.
When you say I "want" something, you are really asking the universe for more desire.
So the universe responds with more desire. NOT THE "THING".
You simply create more desire and more wish feelings.
However, if you understand that as soon as you ask for something the universe supplies it, you understand that you already have it.
All of the components are there. It is fully formed. All you need to do is get in alignment with it.
Your inner being or higher self knows what you "want" and it knows your path of least resistance to it. What you now need to do is know that you already have it and follow the inspired thoughts and direction to it.
In my book Align With Your Purpose, I talk about this in greater detail and how you need to feel about yourself so that you can manifest the life that you deserve.
